I didn’t really know my options when I was struggling to finish high school. Things were tumultuous. But through my school guidance and a social worker, I found out I could do more for myself… it gave me the confidence to pursue college. And I got my tuition covered!

I had a kid in my class, and I didnt want her to slip through the cracks. I heard about this BeTheBold site through my Principal and helped this kid make the initial connections but then she took it from there… took off on a very positive course. She just entered 2nd year of her BSc at Queens!
